Packed this instead of a lightweight fleece on a recent multi week backpacking trip in northern England. Conditions were cold, wet & windy. Worn under a windshirt with a light baselayer it proved to be very good in temperatures around 7 degrees not counting windchill. Breathes well and is super cosy. I also found it great to sleep in and the hood kept my head warm whilst in my quilt.

My new favourite top! Surpassing my old favourite which was the Vertical. The fabric is really nice, great colours, super stretchy, super warm when it needs to be but always super flexible with full length zip.
Also smart enough to wear in town, day to day. Love it- thanks team ESS 🙂
