Stealth Men’s
Lightweight and warm, this pullover hoodie top both wicks away moisture and keeps you warm. Made from Polartec® base layer fabric, it provides maximum thermal efficiency and UV protection, and will retain its shape and performance through years of use. The fleece grids on the fabric have a tufted texture next to the skin, which creates a slow-moving air zone around your body, slowing heat loss and keeping you warm in cold conditions. The fabric also wicks away moisture to keep you dry and comfortable during intense activities. Whether you’re skiing, hiking, or just enjoying a brisk walk on a chilly day, this base layer fabric is the perfect choice for staying warm and comfortable.

Care
- Warm wash
- Mild detergent
- Do not bleach, dry clean or iron.
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Fabric will be touch dry at the end of the washing cycle, any residual dampness will air dry.
- Maybe tumble dried, cool setting only, for a very short time.
- Fabric softeners reduce the moisture transfer and breathability properties of the fleece by coating the polyester fibres with a lubricant. They should be totally avoided.
Our Story
Earth Sea Sky was formed in December 1990 when David teamed up with clothing designer, Sydney Mulligan. Between them they had more than 25 years experience in New Zealand’s outdoor clothing industry. This experience in design, production and sales was used to fill a growing need in the market for outdoor clothing that combined comfort, style and performance. David and Sydney introduced designs and colours that linked function and performance with great fit, attention to detail and fashion. Their first range of 20 garments included tramping jackets, oilskins, waterproof ski wear, 60/40 anorak windshells and Polartec thermal fleeces.
Since then, most of New Zealand’s outdoor clothing brands have taken their production offshore. Earth Sea Sky is committed to remaining New Zealand made. The Ellis family believes this is vital in maintaining the brand’s consistent quality and uniqueness.

My go to active base layer in winter. Very easy to retain or dump heat as the situation requires. The hood while making you look like some sort of Olympic speed skater when done up functioned really well under my rain jacket and replaced the need too wear a buff or beanie when stopping for a break.

Excellent top. Warm, lightweight, and dries quickly. I’m using it for cycling with a windproof vest. Excellent combo.

Such a versatile layer, absurdly warm for its weight with the zip and hood up but it also dumps heat with the zip down. A great base layer for anything but the hottest of days. It is my go to for winter running, I find myself often no longer worrying about bringing a wind breaker.

This has become by go-to base layer for almost every trip (everything except the hottest summer days, when I use the silk weight tops). The versatility of this thing blows me away. With the zip undone and the sleeves pulled up when grunting up a hill, it wicks sweat away effectively enough that I don’t overheat. Cooling down? Sleeves down, zip up, hood on – so much warmth appears out of nowhere. And extremely warm when worn beneath a lightweight second layer. A very lightweight garment for something that does so much.

Supremely versatile base layer. Light and breathable for high output activities up the hills (thank you power grid and the 3/4 zip!). When not moving so fast, just zip up, add a wind/water proof layer, put the hood on, and it is super toasty. Think about downsizing for a tighter, athletic fit. My go-to layer for alpine endeavours and rescue work. Also great for travelling in variable temperature conditions due to its packability. Top piece of gear.
