The streamlined construction holds the socks securely to your feet without compromising comfort, prevents bunching, and provides extra cushioning in high-impact zones.

We’ve now added different colour trims for each size, making it easier to pair your socks after every wash!

I don’t normally do reviews but these sock deserve it! I like the way they stay firmly on my feet, other socks I find bunch up or stretch around my heel. Not to mention they are quite durable and nice and warm. Thanks.

I’m hesitant to give 5 stars as I’ve only had these for 3 months. but I think they will deserve them very soon!
These socks fit, they don’t shrink or misshape and rub and are handling a summer so far of guiding and instruction in the mountains and hills. These NZ made beauties are well on the way to replacing my other previously loved quality socks starting with Bri…..le as the durable, comfortable and sustainable option ill use all the time.
Thanks ESS for another quality product that will standup to NZ conditions and abuse.

One of the best socks I have tried. perfect fit and do not bunch up or sag down. Good medium thickness for warmer weather, but still warm enough for winter.

Excellent socks . Great being able to buy XL socks for my XL feet.. I xc skied in -12C (training and racing) toes toasty, and dry . They are a great mid-weight sock for summer tramping too .

Care

Socks are your friends.

Wash them in warm water with Persil or Woolmark approved detergent. Be aware of “eco’ detergent claims as we have found some products have very high PH (alkaline) readings that can damage the wool fibres.
Line dry – do not tumble dry
Don’t iron.

Earth Sea Sky was formed in December 1990 when David teamed up with clothing designer, Sydney Mulligan. Between them they had more than 25 years experience in New Zealand’s outdoor clothing industry. This experience in design, production and sales was used to fill a growing need in the market for outdoor clothing that combined comfort, style and performance. David and Sydney introduced designs and colours that linked function and performance with great fit, attention to detail and fashion. Their first range of 20 garments included tramping jackets, oilskins, waterproof ski wear, 60/40 anorak windshells and Polartec thermal fleeces.

Since then, most of New Zealand’s outdoor clothing brands have taken their production offshore. Earth Sea Sky is committed to remaining New Zealand made. The Ellis family believes this is vital in maintaining the brand’s consistent quality and uniqueness.
